The Newborn Republic Tour
Imagine having a time machine which made it possible for you to travel back to the Belle Epoque of Rio or to be more specific, from the late 1800s until World War II. Well, on this tour, THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT WE'LL BE DOING. We'll revisit a time in which the Brazilian Repúblic was just like the child holding the flag in the painting above, the presidents lived in Catete, the capital and the republican headquarters was Rio and yes, also a time in which Brazilian soldiers faught against Fascism in Italy. And ABSOLUTELY YES, this tour incluedes visiting the inside of the Republican Museum and also of the World War II memorial.
Meeting place:
Largo do Machado Square (just outside of the Largo do Machado subway station)
Recomended Starting time (the main reason being the heat which is far less in the early morning. However, if you don't mind that you can choose another time which suits you better):

Dates:
Tuesday through Sundays (because on Mondays, both museums that are a big part of the tour are closed). Contact me on whatsapp so we can arrange a date which equally suits you better.
How long does it take:
Between 3 to 4 hours depending on the pace of the group. But hold on to thy hats, this time frame is only because, it being a tour and not a race, we walk rather slowly in order for you to better appreciate the attractions. And also naturally there will be bathroom breaks during the tour which are inclueded in this time frame.

How much and how to pay:
70 reais per person, children younger then 12 pay half price (35 reais).
Payment Options:
1- Deposit half the amount mentioned above when purchasing and pay the rest in cash on the day of the tour itself (right before the tour starts)
2- Deposit the full amount when purchasing and pay 5% off, making the price per person 66,50
